Jason Cinq-Mars

Jason Cinq-Mars has a diverse and extensive work experience across various companies and roles. Most recently, they worked at Innovation Credit Union as the SVP Next Generation Banking starting in 2023. Before that, they served as an Executive Consultant at their own company, Jason Cinq-Mars Executive Consulting Inc., from 2022 to 2023.

Prior to their consulting work, Cinq-Mars held several leadership positions at Servus Credit Union. Jason started as the VP Support Services and IS Efficiency from 2010 to 2012, where they implemented an operating model to support a large merger. Jason then became the VP Information Services Strategy from 2012 to 2017, providing leadership in areas such as IS planning, budgeting, and architecture. Subsequently, they served as the VP IS Operations and Service Management from 2017 to 2019, focusing on stabilizing IT services and reducing outages. Lastly, they held the role of VP Strategic Business Technology from 2019 to 2021, leading the digital transformation of Servus Credit Union.

Cinq-Mars also gained valuable experience at Fujitsu Consulting as a Principal Consultant from 2000 to 2008. During this time, they worked on various technology consulting engagements, including infrastructure and operations for financial institutions and government agencies.

Before entering the consulting field, Cinq-Mars ran their own company, JCM Computer Consulting, where they worked as a Consultant and Owner. Jason'sresponsibilities included leading project teams and coordinating system modernizations within the Alberta Government.

Jason Cinq-Mars attended NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology) from 1992 to 1994, where they studied Telecommunications. In 1997 and 1998, they attended SCTI to pursue MCSE, CCNA, and CNA certifications. Jason completed their high school education at Holy Trinity High School from 1987 to 1988.
