Galen Xing

Galen Xing is a Ph.D. candidate in Computational Biology at the University of California, Berkeley, expected to graduate in 2026. With a strong background in software engineering and machine learning, Galen has held positions such as Software Engineer at Chan Zuckerberg Biohub and Machine Learning Research Engineer at Samsung Electronics, alongside internships focused on machine learning and bioinformatics at Prime Discoveries. Galen also obtained a Bachelor's Degree with a dual focus in Computer Science and Statistics from Columbia University. Additionally, Galen serves as a Venture Fellow at Innovation Endeavors.
