Louis Papa

Louis Papa has extensive experience in the medical field, currently serving as a Physician and Professor of Clinical Medicine at the University of Rochester Medical Center since June 1989. In this role, Louis provides primary care and engages in teaching and outpatient education, while also offering consultative expertise to various organizations. Additionally, Louis holds the position of Director of Professional Licensing and Credentialing Navigation at URMC, advising on licensure processes in New York State. Louis is an active panelist for the PBS series "Second Opinion with Joan Lunden," and serves on the boards of Lifetime Healthcare Companies, New York State Education Department Board of Medicine, and Excellus BCBS. Louis has previously contributed to the Greater Rochester Health Foundation and WHEC-TV, among other organizations. Louis earned an MD from Stony Brook University and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Hofstra University.
