Ryan Williamson is a seasoned professional in content strategy, operations management, and creative direction with extensive experience in the media industry. Currently serving as the Director of Strategy & Operations at WXXI Public Broadcasting Council since July 2022, Ryan focuses on aligning content initiatives with organizational objectives and enhancing the CITY brand. Previously, as Creative Director/Operations Manager at Rochester Area Media Partners, Ryan oversaw visual identity and improved organizational processes. Ryan's earlier roles include Art Director/Production Manager at WMT Publications/City Newspaper and Marketing Communications Project Coordinator at IDEX Corporation, where skills in advertising campaign design, community engagement, and content management were developed. Ryan holds a Bachelor of Science in Professional Technical Communication from SUNY Polytechnic Institute and an Associate's degree in Graphic Design from Finger Lakes Community College.
