Hannes Sibbel

Hannes Sibbel is a Senior Investment Manager & Team Lead Smart & Safe & MKB a.i. at InnovationQuarter. Prior to this, they worked as an Onderzoeksmedewerker at Open Universiteit, where they oversaw PhD programs and various research projects in the areas of circular economy, regional innovation, and entrepreneurship. Hannes has also served on the Adviescommissie for yOUng, where they helped plan professionalization activities for young professionals. In addition, they were a member of the Jongerenraad at Rabobank Rijk van Nijmegen, where they provided input on the bank's policy decisions, organized company visits and other professionalization activities, and served as a liaison between young people and the board of directors. Hannes began their career as a stagiair at Movares in 2009.

Hannes Sibbel holds a Master of Science in Strategisch Management from Radboud University, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Bedrijfskunde from the same school. Prior to their university studies, they completed a VWO in Economie en Maatschappij at Pallas Athene College.
