Bill Bemis

Bill Bemis, CFA, currently serves as the AVP of Investments at Innovative Captive Strategies, where responsibilities include investment management for captive insurance companies. Prior to this role, Bill held the position of SVP and Chief Capital Markets Officer at the Federal Home Loan Bank of Des Moines from May 2013 to April 2021, also serving as Treasurer. Bill's earlier experience includes working as a Senior Portfolio Manager in Fixed Income at Aviva Investors from May 2001 to May 2013. Bill holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from The University of Iowa Tippie College of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
