Daniel Friedman

Daniel Friedman has a strong and diverse work experience spanning from 2008 to 2023. In their current role as Aviation Business Area - Lead Engineer at Innovative Defense Technologies (IDT), they lead a team in developing and testing mission scenarios, as well as creating an automated analysis application. Before this, they served as a Senior Systems Engineer and a Systems Engineer at IDT, where they contributed to the development of complex infrastructure supporting Navy contracts. Prior to joining IDT, Daniel worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as an Associate, conducting project management activities for the F-35 Joint Program Office. Daniel also has experience as an Electrical Engineer at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory, where they led integration tasks and conducted testing and data analysis. Daniel began their career as an intern at Johns Hopkins University and WGS Systems, LLC, where they developed radar systems, performed testing, and built production systems. Additionally, Daniel served as a Technical Intern at Advanced Technology and Research Corporation, where they identified deficiencies in barcode scanners and designed quality verification devices. Overall, Daniel has a wealth of experience across various engineering roles and industries.

Daniel Friedman completed their Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of Michigan. Daniel then pursued a Master of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the Johns Hopkins Whiting School of Engineering. In 2020, they obtained certifications in OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional: Model Builder - Fundamental (OCSMP) and OMG-Certified Systems Modeling Professional: Model User (OCSMP) from OMG.
