Nerissa Oberlander is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in the defense and technology sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Innovative Defense Technologies since May 2014, Nerissa leads automated analysis for critical Navy communications. Previously, at The SI Organization, Inc., Nerissa conducted forensic software analysis to identify digital artifacts before deployment. In a role as a Senior Software Engineer at Lockheed Martin, Nerissa further honed technical skills, while earlier experience as a Teaching and Research Assistant at UC Davis involved developing frameworks for virtual environment creation using Python and related technologies. Nerissa holds a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from The George Washington University, a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor’s degree with High Distinction in Computer Science from the University of Nevada, Reno.
