Winky Jenkins-Rice is currently the Director of Project CHILD & Professional Development at Innovative Educational Programs, LLC. Additionally, Winky is the owner of Backwoods Bistro, a family-run restaurant in historic downtown Sopchoppy, Florida, and opened a second location in Tallahassee in July 2012. Winky also serves as the Youth Director at Sopchoppy United Methodist Church. With experience as a teacher at various schools and as a founding board member at COAST Charter School, Winky's background in education is extensive. Winky holds a MEd in Curriculum & Supervision from Florida State University and a BA in French, Elementary Education from Wilson College.
