Blessan Joseph has worked in a variety of roles since 2004. In 2004, they were a Clinical Engineering Intern at Zayed Military Hospital. The following year, they were a Project Trainee (Biosensor development) at Central Scientific Instruments Organisation. In 2006, they worked as a Clerk at U.S. Bank. In 2007, they were a MATH TUTOR at Sylvan Learning. In 2008, they were an R&D Intern at CR Bard - Bard Biopsy Systems. From 2009 to 2014, they worked at Bard Peripheral Vascular, Inc. in various roles, including Senior Engineer (IVC Filter Franchise Manager), R&D Engineer II, R&D Engineer I, and R&D Engineer. Finally, from 2014 to present, they have been working at Innovative Health LLC as Director, R&D, R&D Manager, and R&D Project Manager.
Blessan Joseph obtained a Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Biomedical Engineering from Sathyabama University in 2006. Blessan then went on to pursue a Master of Science (M.S.) in Bioengineering from Arizona State University, which they completed in 2010.
