John Phillips

John Phillips is an experienced engineering leader with over two decades in the industry. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Innovative Hearth Products since September 2012, John has held various engineering leadership roles including Senior Director of Engineering and Director of Engineering R&D. Prior to this, John was Director of Engineering and Quality Assurance at FMI Products, LLC, and held similar positions at FMI Hearth Industries and Martin Industries, Inc. Additionally, John has experience as an independent consultant in the gas appliance industry and as a lean facilitator. John Phillips holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from Auburn University, obtained in May 1992.
