Daniel Whitener

Daniel Whitener has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Daniel is currently the Director of Technology at Innovative Interfaces since October 2021. Previously, they worked as the Sr. Director of Development at Recorded Books from November 2011 to June 2021, where they played a key role in transforming their development processes and upgrading their codebase. Before that, they served as a Senior Software Developer at Exceptional Software Strategies from November 2009 to November 2011, and as a Software Developer at Piedmont Natural Gas from June 2008 to November 2009. Daniel also has experience as a Software Developer at Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated from May 2006 to June 2008, as a Software Developer at Avande, Inc. from July 2005 to May 2006, and as a Software Development and Network Operations Specialist at HFCB, LLC from August 2001 to June 2005. Daniel started their career as a Network Systems Administrator at LongAgribusiness, LLC from February 1999 to May 2001.

Daniel Whitener obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from NC Wesleyan College in 1996. In January 2018, they also received the AWS Certified Developer - Associate certification from Amazon.
