Thomas Heining

Thomas Heining has a diverse work experience in the field of network engineering and system administration. Thomas began their career at OPNET Technologies in 1999, where they served as a Senior Network Engineer for 13 years. Thomas then joined Riverbed Technology as a Lab Engineer from 2012 to 2015. Following this, they worked as a Network Engineer at Apex Systems for a brief period in 2015. In 2016, they became an Enterprise Management System Engineer at CSRA Inc, a role they held until 2019. Thomas then joined General Dynamics Information Technology as an SIPR Network Engineer for a year. From 2020 to 2022, they served as a Systems Administrator at Proksi Systems. Currently, they are employed as a Network Engineer at Innovative Management Concepts, Inc., starting in 2022.

Thomas Heining earned a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from UNC at Pembroke, where they studied from 1996 to 1999. In addition to their formal education, they obtained several certifications, including the ITIL Foundation from EXIN your ICT competence partner in November 2015, CCNA from Cisco in June 2022, CompTIA Security+ce from CompTIA in June 2015, and Cisco Certified Technician Routing & Switching from Cisco in December 2020.
