Richard McLendon

Richard C. McLendon is a multifaceted composer, conductor, producer, and educator with extensive experience in music spanning over four decades. Since 1971, Richard has owned Richard McLendon Music, composing for a variety of ensembles, while also serving as the owner and publisher of Red Ruby Music Creations, LLC since 2007. In addition to being an artist for Innovative Percussion Inc. since 2009, Richard has held significant positions in music education, including Band Director and Percussion Specialist at Lowndes High School and Director of Bands at Colquitt County High School. Richard's academic qualifications include a Doctorate in Education from Argosy University Sarasota and a Master of Music in Percussion Performance from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette.
