Veronika Poláková has diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Veronika currently works as an AI Engineer / Researcher at Innovatrics since July 2021. Prior to that, they completed a diplomová práce (master's thesis) on the topic of utilizing convolutional neural networks for the segmentation of mouse embryonic cartilage tissues in micro-CT data at CTLAB CEITEC from June 2020 to June 2021. Veronika also worked at CARDIOID a.s. in 2020, where they acquired EKG data using wearable sensors and implemented methods for analyzing and processing the data for biometric purposes. Additionally, they had an internship at FEI Czech Republic s.r.o. in 2018, where they gained experience in business intelligence and data visualization. Veronika's professional journey also includes a role as an administrative worker at AQUA-GAS, s.r.o. in 2017 and a short-term position as a data transcription operator at MediaCall, s.r.o. in 2016.

From 2019 to 2021, Veronika attended Brno University of Technology, where they studied Biomedicínské inženýrství a bioinformatika (Biomedical Engineering and Bioinformatics). During this time, they did not earn a specific degree.

Prior to that, from 2016 to 2019, Veronika also attended Brno University of Technology, where they completed their Bakalář (Bc.) degree in Biomedicínská technika a bioinformatika (Biomedical Technology and Bioinformatics).
