Steven Brody currently serves as President & Chief Executive Officer at BioConnect Iowa and Managing Director of the Iowa Venture Capital Co-Investment Fund LLC. Prior to these roles, Steven held positions at Genus PLC as Sr. Director for Global R&D External Affairs and Global Director of Regulatory & Government Affairs, focusing on the advocacy and market access strategies for gene-edited products. Steven has extensive experience in strategic consulting as Managing Partner at Sagacitas Partners LLC and has held various leadership roles at DuPont Pioneer, where responsibilities included overseeing biotechnology affairs and regulatory compliance across multiple regions. Early career highlights include roles at the USDA as Special Assistant and in the U.S. House of Representatives as Legislative Aide and Director. Steven holds advanced degrees in Agribusiness and Planning and Public Affairs, as well as a BA in History, Political Science, and Business.
