John Butziger has over 30 years of professional experience in the medical device and engineering industries. John began their career in 1990 as a Construction Field Engineer for R F Geisser. From 1991 to 1993, they worked as a Geotechnical Field Engineer for Melick-Tully & Associates, P.C. In 1993, they joined Malcolm Pirnie as an Engineer. From 1995 to 1998, they were Project Manager at ENVIRON, where they oversaw investigation and cleanup of industrial sites. From 1998 to 2000, they served as Program Director/Client Service Manager at BEM Systems, Inc., directing remediation, property acquisition and litigation support for a $1.2 Billion light-rail system. From 2000 to 2010, they were CTO/COO/Board Member at Submedia & The University Network, one of two partners that turned-around a start-up company. In 2010, they joined Primo Medical Group as Vice President, Engineering Programs, directing Program Management Group for all R&D Programs and supervising Program Management, Design Engineering and Advanced Manufacturing Groups on all development programs. In 2015, they became Chief Operating Officer of Versago Vascular Access, an innovative vascular access technology company under the Primo Medical Group umbrella. In 2021, they joined InnovHeart S.r.l. as Sr. Director, R&D, Mitral Valve (TMVR) Delivery System.
John Butziger completed a Bachelor of Science in Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering from the University of Rhode Island in 1991. John then went on to receive a Master of Science in Geotechnical and Environmental Engineering from Rutgers University in 1993.
