Assaf Grimberg

Assaf Grimberg's work experience begins in 2009 at the Israeli Air Force, where they worked as a Practical Engineer at the Radar Department until 2012. From 2012 to 2014, they were promoted to the role of Team Leader at the same department.

In 2012, Assaf started working as a Freelance iOS Developer, specializing in developing and designing applications for the iOS environment using Objective-C and Swift. Assaf continued this role until 2014.

From 2014 to 2015, Assaf joined ELTA as a Real Time/Embedded Developer.

In 2015, Assaf began their tenure at Innovid, a leading video platform. Assaf started as a Software Engineer, working with various technologies such as React, AngularJS, Java, PHP, NodeJS, and AWS. Assaf held this role until 2017.

From 2018 to 2019, Assaf served as a Software Team Lead at Innovid, managing a team of four full-stack engineers and leading the company's R&D Quality Guild.

Assaf then progressed to the position of Director of Software Engineering, Platform from 2019 to 2021. In this role, they managed a team of five engineers and oversaw user/client/3rd party interactions.

In 2021, Assaf became the Senior Director of Software Engineering, Advanced Creative at Innovid, leading two teams of full-stack engineers and a tech lead.

Currently, Assaf holds the position of VP Software Engineering, Advanced Creative at Innovid since 2022. In this role, they manage a global group consisting of five software engineering teams across various locations, working closely with multiple departments to grow and scale the Advanced Creative line of business.

Assaf Grimberg started their education journey in 2001 at Ironi D, Tel Aviv where they completed their high school education. Afterward, from 2007 to 2009, they attended Amal B in Petach Tiqwa where they pursued a Practical Engineer degree with a focus on Computer and Electronics. Continuing their educational pursuits, Assaf then enrolled at The Academic College of Tel-Aviv, Yaffo and from 2012 to 2015, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Finally, in 2017, Assaf Grimberg enrolled in the Holon Institute of Technology and successfully obtained their Master of Technology - MTech degree in 2019.
