Ioana Vaduva

Ioana Vaduva has a diverse work experience. Ioana currently works at Innovid as a Data Scientist since 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Junior Data Scientist at the same company from June 2022 to August 2023.

Before joining Innovid, Ioana worked at the University of Strathclyde from 2019 to 2021 in multiple roles. Ioana was a Teaching Assistant, where they assisted with tutorials and marked assignments and exams for classes of 40 students. Ioana also served as a Postgraduate Representative, acting as a liaison between students and staff, and attending committee meetings to represent student needs.

In 2019, Ioana held the role of Strathclyde Chapter President at the Society for Industrial and Applied Mathematics (SIAM) Student Chapter. Ioana organized various events, including networking sessions, conferences, and career workshops, for doctoral students in Mathematics and Statistics.

Ioana has also worked as a Mathematics Tutor, both as a self-employed tutor from 2018 to 2019 and at Maths Doctor from 2016 to 2017. Additionally, they had a short stint as a Maths Content Collaborator at Up Learn in 2017.

Their work experience also includes a spring internship at DRÄXLMAIER Group Romania in 2013.

Ioana Vaduva has a strong educational background in the field of mathematics and numerical analysis. Ioana completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Numerical Analysis from the University of Strathclyde from 2018 to 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Mathematics from the same institution, studying from 2014 to 2018.

Ioana's educational journey started in 2010 when they enrolled at Colegiul National Andrei Saguna Brasov. Ioana pursued Natural Sciences and completed their degree in the field of Natural Sciences in 2014.
