Marcel Gilg

Marcel Gilg is a data science and research professional currently employed at equation, beginning in June 2024. As a co-founder and internal advisory board member of Innovis VC since March 2020, Marcel has contributed to building one of Europe's fastest-growing Venture Capital student initiatives, which includes over 200 members across several major cities. Prior experience includes fundraising consultancy for a stealth startup, innovation consulting for UnternehmerTUM focusing on quantum gravimeters, and product management at Scalable Capital, where Marcel supported international expansion and performed data-driven market analyses. Additionally, roles at Dr. Wieselhuber & Partner GmbH, KPMG Deutschland, and waterdrop® showcase expertise in management consulting, project management, and retail sales. Marcel holds a Master of Science in Finance and Information Management from the Technical University of Munich and received the Manage and More Scholarship while also completing a Bachelor of Science in Management & Technology from the same university.
