Thomas Willems

Thomas Willems is an experienced embedded software engineer with a diverse background in computer vision and machine learning applications. Currently employed at Innoviz Technologies since December 2022, Thomas has previously held roles at Bragi, where responsibilities included porting algorithms for an embedded AI framework and developing firmware for earbuds. Prior to that, Thomas worked as an embedded software consultant at Nalys and completed a traineeship in embedded software for automotive applications. Notably, as part of Formula Electric Belgium, Thomas headed the electronics and controls team to integrate electronic systems into a Formula Student car. Thomas holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering Intelligent Electronics and a Postgraduate degree in Innovative Entrepreneurship from KU Leuven.
