Brendan Gorman

Brendan Gorman, ARM, is a seasoned risk engineering professional with over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. Currently serving as Senior Managing Director of Risk Engineering at The Hartford since September 2010, Brendan leads a team of 10 direct and 50 indirect reports in the Large Commercial Division, focusing on Risk Engineering survey and service. Previous roles at The Hartford include Director of National Accounts and Risk Engineering Manager, where Brendan managed regional teams and developed client relationships. Brendan's earlier experience includes positions as Technical Director at The Travelers Insurance and Senior Loss Control Consultant at Acadia Insurance, along with a foundational role as a Loss Control Consultant at Firemans Fund Insurance Company. Brendan holds a Bachelor's degree in Marine Transportation from Massachusetts Maritime Academy.
