David Bordo has an extensive career in finance and corporate development. David began their career in 1984 as an Audit Manager/Audit Senior/Audit Staff at Arthur Andersen & Co. In 1990, they became an Operations Consulting Manager, leading a startup practice focusing on cost reduction, process reengineering and logistics cost reduction in middle market distribution/manufacturing environments. In 1992, they became the General Manager of ProSteel Industries, Inc., rapidly expanding the steel distribution business by growing market share and developing specialty manufactured lines. In 1996, they became a Principal at David B. Bordo, Consultant, focusing on finance & operational assignments in manufacturing, distribution and technology companies. In 2007, they became the VP - Finance & Accounting (2011-2013) and Director - Finance & Accounting (2007-2011) at Duquesne Light Holdings, Inc., a regulated electric utility with unregulated operations. In 2015, they became the Principal at David B. Bordo, Consultant, focusing on finance & corporate development assignments in manufacturing, energy/utilities and technology companies. In 2016, they became the Vice President & Controller and Chief Financial Officer at Innovu, a company that empowers employers and their benefit advisors to solve complex problems associated with optimizing quality, cost, and efficacy of healthcare and benefits programs.

David Bordo attended West Virginia University and obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Marketing as a double major. David also obtained a Certified Public Accountant certification from PICPA in 1985.
