Francesca Messano

Managing Director at Innovu

Francesca Messano has over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. Francesca began their career in 1995 as a Vice President at Pioneer Investments. During their time there, they worked with advisors, TPAs and employers in the Small 401k and 403(b) market and also sold Individual Retirement Accounts and Individual Annuities. In 2001, they joined Fidelity Investments as a Senior Vice President, where they worked with Small Market and Mid-Market advisors and employers. During their 10 year tenure at Fidelity, they were recognized four times with the President's Club Award. In 2009, they moved to MassMutual as a Managing Director and also served as an adjunct lecturer for TRAU at the Anderson School of Management, UCLA. During their time at MassMutual, they were recognized nine out of 10 years as a President's Club Sales Award recipient and was awarded twice the Sales Leader of the Year Award. In 2019, they joined Innovu, LLC as a Managing Director and investor. In this role, they are responsible for delivering cutting-edge technology and expert Customer Success resources to help plan sponsors, employee benefits advisors and brokers manage Human Capital Risk, Reduce Healthcare Costs, and make data driven decisions that improve population health and financial performance for employees.

Francesca Messano has a BA in Pol Sci/Legal Studies from Wheaton College Massachusetts. Francesca is currently in the process of obtaining Certificates in Applied Fiduciary Practices and Fiduciary Leadership from Wake Forest University in January 2022. In addition, they have obtained a QPA from the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries in September 1997, an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF) from Fi360, a C(k)P from TRAU - The Retirement Advisor University, a CRPS from the College for Financial Planning, and a Certified Behavioral Financial Analyst (CBFA) from Allianz Global Investors.
