Jeff Chard has a long and varied work experience. Jeff started in 2001 at Protein Mechanics, Inc. as a Member of Technical Staff, where they were responsible for IT & Tools and Cluster Operations. In 2004, they moved to Timbre Technologies, Inc. as a Senior Research Scientist, where they revised standalone C# applications, developed new C# applications from the ground up, and revised the legacy product geometric engine. In 2013, they joined Tokyo Electron US as a Member of Technical Staff and Principal Research Scientist, where they helped convert existing C# Windows applications to cross-platform C++ and led a team of six developers working on multiple software products. In 2017, they became Co-Founder and CTO of TrueRev, where they coordinated with remote teams to develop a core SaaS subscription management product and wrote feature requirements and specifications documents. Finally, in 2019 they joined Innovusion as a Senior Staff Software Engineer.

Jeff Chard completed their high school diploma at Breck School in 1991. Jeff then attended Duke University from 1991 to 1995, earning a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Mathematics, and German. Jeff continued their studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, earning an MS in Mechanical Engineering in 1998. Finally, they received a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Computation in Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002.
