Akshay J. began their career in 2012 as a Management Trainee at Vedanta Resources Plc, where they worked on a project to study the challenges and opportunities for energy efficiency in different sectors. In 2013, they joined Innowatts as a Product Owner and subsequently held the roles of Head of Global Operations, Lead Client Operations - Client Success, Lead Data Analyst - Load Forecasting, and Analyst - Retail Energy Market. In their Lead Client Operations role, they were responsible for leading and managing the client support process, building customized support processes, and assuring timely delivery of solutions and ongoing deliverables to the client. As Lead Data Analyst - Load Forecasting, they worked closely with the Data Science team to build models for different modules, most actively on load forecasting, and also built automation jobs for automating the models.

Akshay J. completed a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) at the National Power Training Institute in Faridabad from 2011 to 2013, where they studied Power Management. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) from the Vivekanand Institue of Tecnology & Science in Ghaziabad from 2006 to 2011, where they studied Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
