Iain Wight

Iain Wight currently serves as the Chief Commercial Officer at InoBat since February 2022 and holds the position of Vice Chairman at the Motorsport Industry Association (MIA) since April 2023, after previously serving as Chairman from August 2017. With extensive experience in the motorsport and automotive sectors, Wight has also worked as Business Development Director at Williams Advanced Engineering, where significant growth was achieved across multiple industries. Prior to that, Wight spent over 14 years at Ricardo Performance Products, transforming a loss-making division into a profitable provider of transmission systems. Early career highlights include roles at Pi Research Ltd, where crucial advancements in motorsport electronics were made, and at Bosch, which provided foundational commercial insights. Wight holds a degree from Edinburgh Napier University.
