Chunyang Tan

Chunyang Tan is an accomplished professional with a robust background in engineering and research. At the University of Minnesota from March 2013 to September 2021, Chunyang conducted research on microelectrodes for biochemical processes under supercritical conditions and developed in-situ sensor systems. Following this, Chunyang served as a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Zeptolife Technology from September 2021 to April 2023, where innovation centered on integrating complex assay processes into microfluidic cartridges for rapid pathogen detection. Currently, Chunyang works as a Sustaining Engineer III at Inogen, focusing on sustaining engineering initiatives, cost reduction, and root cause investigation of product defects. Chunyang holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Wuhan University and a PhD in Mechatronics Engineering from Zhejiang University.
