Neil Washburn

Neil Washburn has a long and successful career in the materials science and engineering industry. Neil began their career in 2000 at DuPont, where they held a number of roles, including Senior Technology Manager, Research Manager, Global Technology Manager, and Global Business Manager. In 2020, they became President of Material Advice, LLC. In 2022, they became President of INOLEX. During their time at DuPont, they directed transformative growth projects, developed an innovation team of 50 direct and indirect reports, applied deep science and engineering to create new products, managed 7 high potential material science projects, generated $10M through new products, conceived technology strategy resulting in doubled capacity, improved quality and increased PV film business revenue 3X, and organized a team to address poor supply chain processes.

Neil Washburn earned their PhD in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and their Bachelor of Science (BS) in Chemistry from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
