Vice President - Information Security And Infrastructure at Inotiv

Cole Mietzner, CISSP, has over a decade of experience in various roles related to information security and infrastructure. Cole'smost recent position was as the Vice President of Information Security and Infrastructure at Inotiv, where they implemented and managed the organization's security program. Prior to that, they served as the Director of Information Security at the same company. Before joining Inotiv, Cole worked as a vCISO at CITSAP, providing virtual Chief Information Security Officer services. Cole also worked as a vCISO/Consultant at TurnKey GRC, specializing in information security program engineering and compliance. Earlier in their career, they served as the IT Security and Compliance Officer at Unifocus, where they established and implemented a comprehensive security program and conducted security assessments. Cole's experience also includes roles at Healthgrades as a SQL Test Engineer and at Unifocus as a Lead Test Engineer, where they focused on test automation, security testing, and performance testing.

Cole Mietzner, CISSP, holds an AAS degree in Graphic Design from Arapahoe Community College, which they obtained from 2007 to 2009. In 2022, Cole completed the Leadership Accelerator program in Organizational Leadership from Learning @ Morning Brew. Cole also has additional certifications, including the CISSP from (ISC)², obtained in 2019, and the GIAC Security Leadership (GSLC) certification from GIAC Certifications, obtained in 2020. Cole's continuous learning is reflected through their completion of courses such as Usable Security from Coursera Course Certificates in 2016 and DBA 1: Database Administration from O'Reilly School of Technology in 2013.
