Inova Children's
Kylie Kretz is a Registered Nurse with extensive experience in pediatric healthcare, currently serving as an RN 3 in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology at Inova Children’s Hospital since July 2017. In this role, Kylie contributes to education and patient experience committees and has been recognized as a 2021 Resident Physician Evaluator. Previous experience at Inova includes serving as a Team Lead in Pediatric Medical-Surgical, where Kylie precepted new RN hires and implemented a quality improvement project focusing on the Teach-Back Method. Additionally, Kylie has been a camp counselor at Camp Mak-A-Dream since June 2015, where responsibilities include managing camp operations and facilitating discussions for families affected by cancer. Kylie's foundational experience in healthcare began as a Student Pharmacy Technician at Geisinger Health System, complementing a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from James Madison University obtained in 2017.
