Mariana Rocha

Mariana Rocha, PhD, currently serves as a Senior Consultant & Project Manager at INOVA+, beginning in April 2024. Previously, Mariana was a Visiting Researcher at the Max Planck Institute for Biological Intelligence (2022 - December 2023), where collaborative research projects were initiated and managed. As a Research Scientist at ETH Zürich (2019 - 2023), Mariana independently designed a novel research project that secured a €191,000 Marie-Curie Postdoctoral Fellowship. Experience also includes organizing and teaching a module on Laboratory Animal Science at the University of Zurich (2021 - 2022), and research positions at prominent institutions, including The University of Tokyo, Max Planck Institute for Ornithology, and Syddansk Universitet. Mariana holds a PhD in Neurobiology and Neurosciences from the Max Planck Society and an MSc in Zoology/Animal Biology from Paris Lodron Universität Salzburg.
