Florian Wilhelm has extensive work experience in the field of Data Science and Mathematical Modelling. Florian started their career at SAP as an intern in 2000 and worked as a temporary worker in various roles at SAP from 2000 to 2004. In 2005, they worked as a student employee at Siemens for a short period. Florian continued their studies and research, working as a research assistant and postdoc at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) and the University of Karlsruhe (TH) from 2009 to 2012.

Florian then joined Blue Yonder GmbH in 2012 as a Senior Data Scientist, where they worked on projects involving predictive analytics, statistical modeling, and demand forecasting for various industries, such as consumer goods, manufacturing, and retail. Florian also contributed to open-source projects and served as a tutor in the Data Science Academy.

In 2015, Florian joined CSC - Computer Sciences Corporation as a Senior Professional: Data Scientist, where they provided consultancy services for Data Science, Big Data, and Analytics solutions. Florian Wilhelm's education history begins with their completion of Abitur at Leibniz Gymnasium (Neustadt a.d.W.) from 1992 to 2001. Afterward, they enrolled in the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) from 2002 to 2008, where they obtained a Diplom degree in Mathematics. Florian went on to pursue further academic achievements at the Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT) from 2009 to 2012, completing a Doctorate (Dr. rer. nat.) in Mathematics.

In addition to their formal education, Florian also obtained several certifications. In 2004, they achieved the LPI Level 1 certification from the Linux Professional Institute. Florian further expanded their expertise with the Novell Certified Linux Administrator certification from Novell in 2010. Florian acquired the Exasol Certified Performance Expert certification in December 2012. Florian then completed Continuum Analytics' Python for Science Training in June 2013.

Further, Florian obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner® certification from the Scrum Alliance in January 2015. Florian continued their pursuit of knowledge by completing the Udacity Deep Learning Nanodegree Foundation program in May 2017. Most recently, in March 2020, Florian acquired the certification for "Improving your Statistical Inferences" from Coursera.
