Venkatesh Sonti

Venkatesh Sonti has over 40 years of work experience in the wind power industry. Venkatesh has held various leadership positions, including President- Project Management at Inox Wind Ltd. since April 2022. Prior to that, they served as Senior Vice President at Inox Wind Ltd. from October 2015 to January 2023. Venkatesh also has experience as the Chief Executive Officer of Divine Windfarm Private Limited, Senior Vice President - Wind at Welspun Energy Limited, Vice President Project Development at Kenersys India, and Vice President - Projects at Regen Powertech Pvt. Ltd. Additionally, Venkatesh worked at Everstone Investment Advisors as a Senior Vice President - Operations, overseeing the development and execution of wind power projects. Venkatesh began their career at ABB Alstom Power Ltd. as the Chief Project Manager and later held roles at NEG Micon and Suzlon Energy Ltd. As a seasoned professional in the wind energy sector, Venkatesh Sonti has extensive expertise in project management, operations, and development.

Venkatesh Sonti completed their All India Higher Secondary education from Kendriya Vidyalaya between 1971 and 1975, majoring in PCMBE. Venkatesh further pursued their Bachelor's in Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical from the National Institute of Technology, Tiruchirappalli, which they completed between 1975 and 1980.
