Christian Phillips

Christian Phillips has extensive work experience in the pharmaceutical industry, spanning various roles and companies. Christian is currently working as the VP of Quality & Compliance at Inozyme Pharma since 2022. Prior to this, they held positions at UCB from 2020 to 2022, serving as the Head of Pharma Sciences in Cambridge and later as the Senior Director of Drug Product, Tech Ops. From 2016 to 2020, Christian worked at Ra Pharmaceuticals as the Senior Director of Drug Product Development.

In addition, Christian has experience as an Independent Consultant at Christian Phillips, LLC in 2016. Before that, they worked at Brammer Bio as the Vice President of Site Commercial Operations for a brief period in 2016. Christian also has a long tenure at AMRI (Albany Molecular Research Inc.), where they held multiple roles from 2010 to 2016. These roles included General Manager and Site Head, Senior Director of Operations and Site Head, and Senior Director of Quality Assurance. At AMRI, Christian was responsible for various operations, quality assurance, and compliance initiatives.

Prior to joining AMRI, Christian worked at Hyaluron Contract Manufacturing as the Director of Process Engineering from 2006 to 2010. Christian managed the Process Engineering department, overseeing process development, design, GMP production, and project management.

Christian began their career at Shire Pharmaceuticals and Transkaryotic Therapies in 1994. At both companies, they held managerial positions in bioengineering, process development, and gene therapy manufacturing.

Christian Phillips attended Saint Michael's College from 1989 to 1993, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology.
