Matthew Banks

Matthew Banks currently serves as the Lead for Diversity & Inclusion at INPEX Corporation, a role undertaken since August 2016 at the head office in Tokyo, where responsibilities include supporting the Global HR and recruitment teams. Prior to this position, Matthew accumulated extensive experience at INPEX from January 2007 to July 2016, holding various roles such as Mobility Advisor, Expatriate Mobility Coordinator, and Relocation Specialist, focusing on international and domestic mobilization, expatriate assignments, and relocating Japanese executives and their families. Earlier in his career, Matthew worked as an Account Manager at ReloJapan K.K. from March 2002 to December 2006, managing inbound relocation and real estate services. Matthew holds a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese Language and Literature from Edith Cowan University, completed in 1999.
