Marie-Barbe Girard is the managing director at InPlayer. Marie-Barbe has also worked with World is a Village as the MD UK & Ireland, and before that, they were with PUBLIC as a GovStart Mentor & Senior Advisor and the author of the GovTech in France report.

Girard has always had a passion for helping others and leveraging technology to make a difference. This led their to their work with World is a Village, where they helped connect families and teenagers around the world to offer linguistic and cultural experiences. Marie-Barbe then went on to work with PUBLIC, where they were a mentor for their GovStart accelerator program and consultant for Public France. In addition to this, they authored their report on GovTech in France, which was presented at the GovTech summit in 2019 and endorsed by President Macron.

Marie-Barbe Girard has a Master's degree in Management from HEC Paris, a Master's degree in Quantitative Economics from Ecole normale supérieure, and a Master's degree in International Management from WU (Vienna University of Economics and Business). Marie-Barbe also has a baccalaureat in Mathematics from Lycée Louis-le-Grand.
