Amrit Narasimhan

Lead Engineer at Inpria

Amrit Narasimhan has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. They are currently working at Inpria as a Lead Engineer since July 2022, after holding the position of Senior Staff Engineer from February 2019 to July 2022. Prior to that, they worked at GLOBALFOUNDRIES as a Senior Engineer focused on EUV Resists/Materials Research from July 2017 to August 2018. Before entering the industry, Amrit completed their PhD in Nanoengineering at the SUNY Polytechnic Institute Graduate Studies in June 2017, where they served as a Graduate Research Assistant. During their research, they concentrated on evaluating and modeling EUV photoresists, specifically exploring electron-matter interactions in chemically amplified photoresists. Amrit also gained experience as a Research Intern at ARIAD Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in multiple instances: from June to August 2013, from May to June 2012, and from June to August 2011. They further enhanced their research skills as a Research Experience for Undergraduates Intern at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Polymer Science in June to August 2010, where they studied oil-polymer microcapsule formation and deposition on cracked substrates using nanoparticle-containing microcapsules.

Amrit Narasimhan completed a Bachelor's Degree in Physics at Carnegie Mellon University in the year 2013. During the same period, they also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science & Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University's College of Engineering. Then, from 2013 to 2014, Amrit pursued a Master's Degree in Materials Science & Engineering at Carnegie Mellon University's College of Engineering. Subsequently, they attended SUNY Polytechnic Institute from 2014 to 2017, where they earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nanoengineering.
