Emily Biboux has a diverse work experience in the field of chemistry. Emily started their career in 2008 as an Analytical Chemist at the CH2M Applied Science Laboratory (ASL), where they worked for a few months before joining TestAmerica as an Analyst III in 2017. After a year, they moved on to Paradigm Information Services, Inc. as a Chemical Technician. In 2019, Emily joined Inpria as a Staff Scientist, where they currently work.

Emily Biboux attended Macalester College from 2004 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Chemistry.
