Austin Stoner has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Austin began their career in 2005 as a Journeyman Electrician at Gaylor, Inc., where they installed, repaired, and maintained electrical equipment. From 2014 to 2015, they worked at Kroger as an Assistant Store Manager, focusing on delivering a positive customer shopping experience and achieving sales targets.
In 2015, they returned to Gaylor Electric, Inc., this time as a Project Engineer. In this role, they independently managed multiple projects, ensuring progress and timeline adjustments as necessary. Austin also worked as part of an interdisciplinary team to achieve project milestones.
From 2016 to 2018, Austin served as a Utilities Project Manager at the University of Tennessee. Austin'sresponsibilities included coordinating multiple projects with various stakeholders and reviewing project plans and estimates.
In 2018, they joined Gaylor Electric, Inc. again, this time as an Electrical Project Manager. Austin continued to oversee multiple projects across all phases of development and collaborated with interdisciplinary teams to achieve project milestones.
Prior to their civilian career, Austin served in the United States Army Reserve from 2001 to 2019. Austin retired as a Sergeant First Class and fulfilled roles such as Chemical Operations Specialist, Mobilization Team Lead, and Platoon Sergeant. Austin coordinated and scheduled training sessions for mobilizing units and managed a multi-million-dollar budget for special projects.
Most recently, Austin worked at Shambaugh & Son LP from 2019 to 2022 as an Electrical Project Manager. In this role, they directly managed multiple projects, ensuring adherence to standardized project management principles and successfully achieving project milestones.
Currently, Austin is a Senior Project Manager at InPwr Inc., starting in 2023.
Austin Stoner has a diverse education history. Austin first attended Purdue University Northwest from 2001 to 2003, where they studied Organizational Leadership. After a few years, they pursued further education at the University of Phoenix, where they obtained an Associate's degree in General Studies from 2010 to 2012. Austin continued their education at the University of Phoenix and completed a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology/Information Security from 2012 to 2014.
In addition to their academic achievements, Austin has also obtained several certifications. In 2010, they became a Journeyman Electrician through the Associated Builders and Contractors. Austin later obtained certifications such as Hazardous Materials Technician, Hazardous Materials Operations, and Incident Commander through the DoD Firefighter Certification System at various times between 2012 and 2013. More recently, in 2019, they acquired certifications in OSHA 30 Hour from OSHA-Training.com and Project Management Essentials from Purdue University.
