Shelley Miller

Head of Customer Value Management at inQuba

Shelley Miller has a wealth of experience in the IT and customer service fields. Shelley began their career in 1998 as the Head of Technology for Uvine Wine Exchange and a Subject Matter Expert for Compaq Computers Limited. In 2002, they joined Barclays Investment Bank as a Senior Engineer in Executive Support, where they provided VIP Support Service to Barclays Capital Executive Committee. In 2005, they were promoted to Head of Executive Support, where they designed, built and implemented a bespoke Executive Support Service for the Barclays Executive Committee. In 2007, Miller joined ABSA CAPITAL as the CIO for ABSA Wealth Technology and the Head of IT Client Services. In 2011, they were promoted to CIO Special Projects, where they delivered a Change Practices Workstream focusing on redefining all change practices, standards and forums across Africa for Africa Technology. In 2012, Miller joined Barclays Africa Group Limited as the Head of AFRICA CENTRAL PMO OPERATIONS. In 2014, they moved to FlowState80 as the Director of Client Services, where they were responsible for sales, marketing, client engagement lead, customer experience development, customer journey development, product development, training, content management and development, client services and support. In 2021, Miller joined inQuba as the Head of Customer Value Management.

Shelley Miller's education history includes a B Com Accounts degree from Natal University, Pietermaritzburg, which they obtained between 1994 and 1997. Shelley also holds a Matriculation with B aggregate (70%+) from Saint Anne's Diocesan College, Hilton, South Africa, which they obtained between 1989 and 1993. Additionally, Shelley has obtained several certifications from LinkedIn, including "Leading with Intelligent Disobedience" (November 2021), "Creating Positive Conversations with Challenging Customers" (September 2021), "Building Online Communities" (November 2020), "Data Science Tools of the Trade" (November 2020), "Design Thinking: Understanding the Process" (November 2020), "Guy Kawasaki on Turning Life Wisdom into Business Success" (November 2020), "A Design Thinking Approach to Putting the Customer First" (October 2020), "Communicating with Confidence" (October 2020), and "Learning Personal Branding" (October 2020).
