Dr Eshan Dias has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Dr Eshan is currently working at inQube as the Senior Vice President. Prior to this, they worked at inQube Solutions as the Vice President of Advanced Materials and Chemical Engineering. Before joining inQube, they served as the General Manager of the Confectionery Cluster at Ceylon Biscuits Limited. Dr Dias also has experience working at Hemas Holdings PLC, where they held various roles such as Senior Scientist, Head of Quality Assurance, and Head of R&D in the FMCG sector. Dr Eshan was also involved in sustainability initiatives and served as the President of the FMCG Sports Club. Earlier in their career, they were the Head of Laboratory at CIC Holdings PLC. Dr Eshan began their professional journey as an Officer Cadet in the Cambridge University Officer Training Corps of the British Army and also interned at Unilever. Dr Eshan Dias' expertise lies in quality assurance, research and development, sustainability, and management.
Dr Eshan Dias has a strong educational background. Dr Eshan obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge. Prior to that, they completed a MA (Hons), MEng, and BA (Hons) in Chemical Engineering from the same university. In 2012, they were selected for the Master of Studies (MSt) program in Sustainability Leadership, also at the University of Cambridge. Before their university studies, Dr Dias attended Colombo International School for their O/L and A/L qualifications. Dr Eshan also completed Form I to Form III at St Andrew's International High School and their primary education at St Benedicts Primary School. In addition to their academic achievements, they hold several professional certifications, including Certified Corporate Director from The Sri Lanka Institute of Directors, Chartered Chemical Engineer from the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE), Chartered Quality Professional from The Chartered Quality Institute, and Chartered Scientist from the Science Council.
