El Mehdi Bouchouat

El Mehdi BOUCHOUAT is a data scientist with a diverse background in various fields, including agricultural technology and audio processing. Currently, at INRAE since December 2023, El Mehdi specializes in digital phenotyping through drone imagery, focusing on fruit crack prediction in cherry and citrus trees. Previous experience includes a role at Fondation MAScIR, where El Mehdi worked on precision agriculture and disease detection in cereals using drones and multispectral images, as well as data collection and modeling. Earlier positions involved audio file analysis at Bixen and data mining engineering at the Université de Technologie de Troyes. El Mehdi holds a Master's degree in Data Science and another in Mathematics & Interactions from Université Paris-Saclay, along with a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Université Évry Paris-Saclay.
