Gijs Westen

Gijs Westen has significant experience in the biomedical and medical engineering fields, currently serving as the Manager of R&D at Inreda Diabetic B.V. since December 2013, where previous roles included R&D Engineer and involvement in a graduate internship. Prior to this, Gijs Westen completed a trainee position in healthcare at Deerns, focusing on developing and implementing a technical installation database for medical settings. Additional experience includes a position as a wiring technician at Holland-Controls B.V. and maintenance work at Partycentrum Lutke Hulscher. Gijs Westen also contributed to a bachelor thesis at Roessingh Research and Development. Academically, Gijs Westen holds a Master of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from the University of Twente, obtained in 2014, and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from the same institution, completed in 2012.
