Adrien Vacher

Adrien Vacher is a postdoctoral researcher at Inria since December 2023, focusing on optimization in measure spaces. Vacher completed a Ph.D. at Université Gustave Eiffel under the supervision of François-Xavier Vialard from October 2020 to October 2023 and served as a teaching assistant in signal processing. Prior research experience includes a research internship at Université Paris-Est Marne-la-Vallée on optimal transport, another research internship at Deezer on discrete representation learning for music recommendation, and a role as a hacker/algorithm trader with Jabba Holding focused on cryptocurrency data. Vacher's early career also includes an internship on NLP algorithms at Meteojob - Visiotalent and a position as a mathematics examiner for advanced preparatory students. Academic credentials include a Master MVA in Machine Learning from École Normale Supérieure Paris-Saclay and a Master's in Statistics from ENSAE Paris.
