Fabien Campillo

Fabien Campillo is a Senior Research Scientist at Inria, specializing in the simulation and analysis of stochastic processes, particularly in population dynamics, system biology, and neurosciences. They previously served as a lecturer at multiple institutions, including Université de Montpellier and Aix-Marseille Université, from 2007 to 2016. Fabien also completed a PhD in Applied Mathematics at Université de Provence, where they studied from 1982 to 1984, and furthered their education with an Habilitation à diriger des recherches at Université de Rennes in 2004. Their career includes roles as a research scientist during military service and postdoctoral positions at renowned institutions such as The University of British Columbia and Inria.
