Jean-Philippe Lagrange

Directeur Du Centre Inria Nancy Grand-est at Inria

Jean-Philippe Lagrange currently serves as the Directeur du Centre Inria Nancy Grand-Est since April 2023, following a role as Directeur de la recherche at INSTITUT MINES TELECOM from April 2018 to April 2023. Previously, Jean-Philippe held various leadership positions including Directeur scientifique, technique et des relations européennes et internationales at Cerema (July 2013 - March 2018) and Deputy Technical Director at IGN (December 2007 - June 2013). Earlier experience includes serving as Attaché pour la science at the Ministère des Affaires étrangères français (October 2004 - November 2007) and Directeur for international and European activities at IGN (2000 - 2004). Jean-Philippe's career began at DGA as Chef de la CEGN DGA/DRET (1995 - 2000) and as a researcher and laboratory head at IGN (1991 - 1995), after completing doctoral research at EDF-DER (1987 - 1991). Educational background includes a Docteur ès sciences from Université Paris Dauphine - PSL and an engineering degree from École Polytechnique.
