Pierre-Yves Oudeyer

Pierre-Yves Oudeyer is a prominent research director and head of the Flowers AI & CogSci Lab at Inria since January 2008, and serves as an AI Strategy Consultant at EvidenceB since January 2023. Oudeyer has experience as a research visitor at Microsoft Research Lab from August 2021 to July 2022, and previously worked as a Permanent Research Scientist at Sony CSL in Paris from 1999 to 2007. Educational qualifications include a Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition, as well as a PhD in Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Science, both obtained from Pierre and Marie Curie University, following studies at École normale supérieure de Lyon from 1997 to 1999.
