Lead Software Engineer at INRIX

Ross Fenning has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Ross started their career as a Tester with Level 5 Networks in 2004 and later worked as a Tester at Transversal in 2005. In the same year, they also joined Tim Lilley Fundraising as a Fundraiser. From 2007 to 2010, Ross worked as a Systems Developer at Cranfield University. In 2010, they worked as a Freelance professional before joining BBC as a Software Engineer. At BBC, Ross progressively advanced in their career, serving as a Software Engineer, Senior Software Engineer, and later as a Principal Software Engineer until December 2022. Ross then joined Functional Programming as the Managing Director and Software Engineer in November 2010. Finally, in 2022, Ross became the Lead Software Engineer at INRIX.

Ross Fenning attended Prince William School from 2000 to 2002, where they studied Maths, Further Maths, Physics, German, and French. From 2002 to 2005, Ross obtained their MA (Cantab) degree in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge. Ross later pursued their MSc in Software Engineering and Internet Architecture from the University of Bradford from 2012 to 2016.
