Jarod Lim, CISM, has extensive work experience in the field of IT. Jarod started their career in 1993 as a Securities Officer at Public Bank. Jarod then worked as a Systems Engineer at INFOPRO from 1997 to 2000. After that, they joined Phoenix Games Studio as a Technical Support Engineer from 2004 to 2006.

In 2006, Lim joined Silicon Intranet & Networking Sdn Bhd as an Application and Systems Lead, where they managed the IT operations for the company's Kuala Lumpur Headquarters. Jarod was later promoted to the role of Head of IT Operations, Support & Maintenance, where they played a key role in developing IT strategies and ensuring top-notch service levels to corporate clients.

In 2016, Lim joined INSCALE as the Head of IT Operations and was later promoted to the Global Head of IT. In this role, they lead a team of IT personnel across multiple countries, overseeing strategic IT planning, budget development, and performance monitoring. Jarod also serves as the de facto CISO, implementing cybersecurity initiatives and conducting training sessions.

Throughout their career, Lim has demonstrated strong leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and expertise in IT operations and cybersecurity.

Jarod Lim, CISM, has a diverse educational background in the field of computer/information technology administration and management. Jarod obtained their Master of Technology Management degree from De Montfort University from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, Jarod attended Harvard Business School Executive Education in 2017 for a program titled "Competing on Business Analytics and Big Data." Jarod also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Computing from Staffordshire University, which they completed from 2002 to 2003. Before their bachelor's degree, Jarod earned a Bachelor's degree in Computing from the Asia Pacific University of Technology and Innovation (APU / APIIT) from 2000 to 2002.

In addition to their formal education, Jarod Lim holds various certifications that further enhance their expertise in the field. Jarod obtained the Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) certification from ISACA in January 2022. Other certifications include the ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Implementer certification from BSI in April 2022 and the Become a Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification from LinkedIn in September 2021. Jarod has also completed several ITIL certifications, including the ITIL Intermediate Certificate in IT Continual Service Improvement in February 2019, the ITIL Intermediate Certificate in IT Service Operation in August 2018, and the ITIL Version 3 Foundation Examination in July 2009. Additionally, they hold certifications in cybersecurity, leadership, management, and negotiation skills.
